Today we are going to talk about the Right to Education Act, 2009, an important law in India that ensures every child gets the opportunity to go to school. This act came into force on 1 April 2010 and made education a fundamental right for children aged 6 to 14 years under Article 21A. The main aim of this act is to provide free and compulsory education to all children so that no child is left without learning. What Does the Act Provide? The Right to Education Act, 2009 ensures that:  Every child between 6–14 years has the right to education.  Government schools provide free education.  Private schools must reserve 25% seats for children from economically weaker sections.  Schools must have qualified teachers and proper infrastructure.  No child can be denied admission.
